This policy explains how I collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit arijonsartorial.com or apply for a fit call. I keep this simple and honest, the same way I run the rest of the business.

1. Who is responsible for your data

3. Legal basis

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), I process your data on the following bases:

Steps prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — processing your application and holding the fit call.
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — the newsletter, which you can withdraw from at any time.
Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — keeping the website secure and following up on genuine enquiries.

4. Who else touches your data

I don't sell your data, and I don't run ads. To operate the site, I use a small number of service providers who process data on my behalf:

Netlify — website hosting
Formspree — delivers your application form to my inbox
Google (Gmail) — email correspondence
Google Analytics — website usage statistics (see section 7)
Calendly — call scheduling
Beehiiv — newsletter delivery (only if you subscribe)
Meta (WhatsApp) — if you choose to continue the conversation there

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

5. How long I keep your data

Applications that don't lead to a call: deleted within 12 months.
Client records: kept for the duration of our work together, plus what Swedish bookkeeping law requires (7 years for invoicing records).
Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can, at any time:

Request a copy of the data I hold about you
Have inaccurate data corrected
Have your data deleted
Restrict or object to processing
Receive your data in a portable format
Withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe from the newsletter)

To exercise any of these, email Arijonsartorial@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish supervisory authority, IMY (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten).

7. Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising cookies, and I don't sell your data or run ads.

I use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example how many people visit and which pages they read. This sets analytics cookies and collects data such as your approximate location, device type, and the pages you view. I use it only to improve the site, never to identify you personally.

Embedded third-party services (such as the Calendly widget) may set their own functional cookies when you interact with them; these are governed by those providers' policies.

You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

8. Changes to this policy

If I change how I handle your data, I'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes affecting existing clients will be communicated directly.
